The Football League fixtures for the 2017/18 season have been released this morning with Harry Redknapp’s men beginning the campaign with a trip to Portman Road to face Ipswich. That is followed up with the first home game of the season hosting 2016/17 final day opponents Bristol City.
Blues host rivals Villa at St Andrews on 28th October and travel to Villa Park on 10 February next year.
Blues face Black Country neighbours Wolves at home on 2nd December and at Molineux on 14th April. Both teams will be hoping for an improvement and to potentially push towards the top six in the coming season and the meeting in April could turn out to be crucial.
The ever-popular trips to Derby and fellow 2016/17 final day escapists Nottingham Forest, come on 23rd September and 3rd March respectively, with Gary Rowett’s Rams visiting St Andrews on 13th Jan.
Blues finish the season at home to Fulham.
